These terms cover use of the Direct MX website and the purchase of products from Direct MX Group Limited. If you place an order, you agree to them.

1. About us

Direct MX Group Limited sells electric motocross bikes, accessories, and safety kit in the UK. We are not VAT registered. The price shown is the total you pay.

2. Ordering and payment

You can pay by bank transfer, card, or cash. A £150 deposit reserves a bike for up to 48 hours, and that deposit is refundable. Paying the deposit does not complete the sale. The balance is due before the bike leaves.

Finance is not available yet. We will say so on the site, and on WhatsApp, when it is. Direct MX does not lend the money. If finance is offered later, a lender will provide it, on that lender’s terms.

We can refuse or cancel an order if payment cannot be checked, or if we think it is fraudulent. You will get an email when an order is confirmed.

3. Product information

We take care with descriptions, photos, and specifications. A manufacturer can change a detail, and a photo can differ slightly from the bike you receive. Read the manual and the warnings before you ride.

We buy stock from authorised dealers, resellers and importers. That sometimes means a parallel import. If the bike we offer you is a parallel import, we tell you before you buy. How stock is supplied is on the FAQ, and the warranty says what cover you get.

4. Delivery

Delivery is to mainland UK only. We do not ship outside the UK. Mainland UK delivery is £50. It is usually between 6 and 72 hours, depending on where you are. That time is a guide. A courier delay is not something we can control.

Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered. Look at them when they arrive, and tell us straight away if something is wrong. You can also collect from the workshop. Weekdays are 10am to 4pm. Weekends are by appointment only.

5. Cancellation and faults

If you bought at a distance, you can cancel as set out in the refund policy. That policy is the Consumer Contracts Regulations wording, and it includes the model cancellation form. Goods do not have to be unused.

If goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies as well. Email sales@directmx.shop.

6. Warranty

On a new motorcycle, the Direct MX Limited Warranty runs for twelve months from purchase, unless the manufacturer states a longer period. Zero is the exception we sell: Zero’s published UK warranty on the XB and the XE is two years on the motorcycle and the battery, and that period replaces the twelve months for the parts Zero includes.

Where a motorcycle is a parallel import, it does not come with a UK distributor warranty. Where the manufacturer does not specify its own warranty, Direct MX issues the Limited Warranty directly. It is for the original purchaser of a new motorcycle and is not transferable. Labour to diagnose, fit, and test covered parts is charged at the workshop rate on the service rates page. Nothing in these terms removes or reduces your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. We do not exclude liability that the law does not let us exclude.

7. The website

The text, photos, and logo on this website belong to Direct MX Group Limited or to the people who licensed them to us. Do not copy them without written permission. Use the site lawfully. We can suspend access if you do not.
