Stronger performance, for everyone. Sur-Ron calls the 2025 Light Bee X the tip of the spear: born for off-road, and a bike they say you love at the first ride. The forged aluminium frame carries a new 8 kW mid-drive, more than 33% up on the previous generation, with more torque at the wheel, an adjustable throttle curve, and Eco and Sport modes.
The new single-connector 60V 40Ah pack uses a high-efficiency battery management system, several temperature sensors and an aluminium shell. It weighs about 11.6 kg, comes off in about 10 seconds, and charges indoors while a spare is on the bike. Range is up about 20% when you are cruising at 40 km/h, and a charge from 20% to 80% takes about 2 hours.
The wheelset is a 70/100-19 front and a wider 18-inch rear, for grip and a bit more comfort than the last bike. The gold inverted fork is about 30% stronger and 50% stiffer, with motorcycle-grade brake hoses.
