The Sting R MX4 is built to give more riders a proper off-road bike. A CAD-designed light frame, instant torque through the gearbox, and it runs extremely quietly. Compact, easy to handle, and very little to maintain. Talaria built it so more people get a proper off-road bike.
This generation adds the gearbox, so there is no belt to change, a larger rear wheel, regen you can set from the display, a stronger battery connector and tougher headset bearings. Peak power is up on the 2023 Sting R. The DC IPM motor is about 94% efficient, the brake rotors are 220 mm, and a full charge takes about 3 hours.
The 60V 45Ah pack is automotive-grade LG 21700 cells, 2,700 watt-hours, with a programmable battery management system. It lifts out in seconds. Fit a charged spare and carry on. Range runs up to 52 miles.
